STARWOOD Filler

STARWOOD Filler is a high-quality, easy-to-apply, alkyd-based filler specially designed for a variety of interior wooden surfaces. It effectively fills pores and smooths imperfections, creating uniform foundation for subsequent coatings and enhancing the overall appearance and durability of the topcoat. With excellent pore-filling capability and strong adhesion, STARWOOD Filler is ideal for parquet floors, doors, windows, and other wood applications. Available in 9 natural wood colors, it allows you to match the natural color of your wood or personalize it to suit your design preferences.

METHODS

  • Brush or clean cloth pad
  • Mix with up to 15% of Star Wood Filler Thinner (ST 111).
  • Apply and rub the Star Wood Filler (SF 10x) onto the surface of the wood with clean cloth pad spreading as far as possible.
  • Allow to stand 3 – 5 minutes until the wet sheen begins to dull.
  • Remove the excess filler with clean cloth pad, rubbing across the grain.
  • After removing all excess filler, rub lightly along the grain to eliminate any cross streaks.
  • Allow at least 4 hours to dry for overcoating of clear sealer.
  • No sanding is needed.
  • It is flammable. Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. No welding. Protect from extremes of temperature.
  • Avoid contact with strong oxidizing agents.
  • It needs enough ventilation when using.
  • In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment.
  • It is advisable to wear eye protection, suitable protective clothing and gloves.
  • It may be harmful if swallowed.
  • Keep container tightly closed and keep out of reach of children.
  • Care must be taken when transporting paint. Keep container in a secure upright position.
  • In the event of accident, contain and collect spillage by using sand or earth.
  • Do not empty into drains or watercourses.
  • Dispose of any paint waste in accordance with the appropriate environmental quality regulations.
