UPG’s CSR commitments aim to align the expectations of the stakeholders with the interest of the company. The following areas are the company’s priorities and establishes the CSR commitments as follows.
UPG allocates funds to its CSR projects and activities by setting aside 100 MMK for every liter of the PREMIER Brand Family sold.

Following the devastating Sagaing Earthquake in 2025, UPG mobilized its resources, employees and business network to provide immediate assistance to affected communities, employees, dealers and paint stores. Our response focused on urgent needs, including financial assistance, clean water, temporary electricity, blood donations and essential relief supplies. The combined value of our cash and in-kind contributions amounted to MMK 110,390,236.
We provided cash donations through the Ministry of Commerce, the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), the Myanmar Industries Association (MIA), the Myanmar Customs Department, the Sintgaing Township Administrative Office, and the Industrial Zone Management Committees of Hlaing Tharyar, Shwe Pyi Thar, Tharketa and Thilawa SEZ. These contributions supported organized relief and recovery activities for earthquake-affected communities.
Our Mandalay factory in Sintgaing distributed water directly to neighboring communities. We also dispatched water trucks to affected areas in Mandalay, Sintgaing, Amarapura, Sagaing City, and Sagaing Taungyoe to help address the urgent need for safe and accessible water.
We deployed mobile generators to provide temporary electricity to communities in Mandalay, Sintgaing, Amarapura, Innwa, Sagaing City, and Sagaing Taungyoe. This support helped residents meet essential needs during disruptions to the electricity supply.
UPG corporate volunteers participated in a collective blood donation campaign to support earthquake victims requiring medical treatment and emergency care.
Support for Affected Employees: We provided financial assistance to UPG employees affected by the earthquake in Mandalay and Nay Pyi Taw. Tents and other essential relief supplies were also distributed to employees whose homes and daily lives had been disrupted.
Through these coordinated CSR activities, we sought to respond promptly and responsibly to the urgent needs created by the disaster. We remain committed to supporting our employees, distributors, neighboring communities and wider society during times of crisis.
As part of our CSR activities and in respectful memory of our late Finance Director, Haji Mohammed Usoof, UPG Paint & Coating Co., Ltd. donated cash, medicines, medical supplies, and a diathermy machine to Muslim Free Hospital on Maha Bandoola Park Street, Yangon, on 9.12.2025. The total value of the contribution was MMK 77,559,600.
