SMART Bonding Agent

SMART Bonding Agent is a high-quality, styrene-butadiene-based bonding agent specially designed to enhance adhesion, strength, and durability in concrete and mortar applications. It also serves as an admixture, enabling the production of polymer-modified concrete and mortar for improved flexibility and performance. Ideal for concrete repair, patching, floor topping, rendering, cementitious mixes, and floor screeds, SMART Bonding Agent significantly improves bonding strength, enhances adhesion to various surfaces, and increases elasticity, reducing the risk of cracks and shrinkage. It also provides good resistance to water, chemicals, and abrasion, ensuring long-lasting durability in demanding environments.

  • Ready to use

For use as Bonding Agent

  • Apply directly from container over a saturated surface dry surface. Apply with brush or roller or sprayer. Immediately apply cementitious materials that will interlock with the structure. Do not allow Bonding Agent to dry prior to cementitious material application. If surface is dampened concrete, Bonding Agent can be mixed with the cement to have a brushable consistency and applied as bonding coat. For use as admixture for concrete: Mix Cement (1 part), Aggregate (2 parts) with sufficient amount of Bonding Agent solution. For use as admixture for mortar: Bonding Agent solution is added during process. Amount of Bonding Agent solution is 10% to 25% of cement weight. If necessary, slight amount of water to be added.
    Remark : Do not over mix or use high speed mixing equipment.
  • Keep container tightly closed and keep out of reach of children.
  • Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. It may be harmful if swallowed.
  • A suitable mask should be worn when rubbing down.
  • Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
  • Suitable mask should be worn when sanding.
  • When applying paint, it is advisable to wear eye protection.
  • In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
  • Remove splashes from skin. Use soap and water or a recognised skin cleaner.
  • Care must be taken when transporting.
  • Protect from extremes of temperature. Store in a cool place. In the event of an accident, contain and collect spillage by using sand or earth.
  • Do not empty into drains or water courses.
  • Dispose of any paint waste in accordance with the appropriate environmental quality regulations.
