OCEAN STAR Vinyl Anti-Corrosive Primer

OCEAN STAR Vinyl Anti-Corrosive Primer is a high-quality, vinyl-based coating specially formulated as a primer for OCEAN STAR Vinyl Top Coat. It can also be overcoated with various types of topcoats. This durable primer is designed for iron, steel, and other metal surfaces on boats and ships, offering exceptional corrosion resistance, strong adhesion to various substrates, and quick drying times, all while maintaining high flexibility for long-lasting protection. It is well-suited for ship hulls, cabin walls, wheelhouses, ceilings, ladders, stairs, handrails, deck surfaces, bollards, winches, masts, bulwarks, railings, hatches, doors, funnel casings, ventilation ducts, exhaust stacks, external tanks, and storage compartments. Beyond ships and boats, OCEAN STAR Vinyl Anti-Corrosive Primer is also ideal for coastal and industrial structures, including harbors, docks, piers, pipelines, platforms, and structural components in dairy plants and gas plants.

BRUSH (OR) ROLLER

  • The paint is ready for use after thorough stirring. If necessary, thin with up to 5% of Eagle Lacquer Thinner ET (71).

  • It is flammable. Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. No welding. Protect from extremes of temperature. Store in a good ventilated room at room temperature.
  • It needs enough ventilation during application and drying.
  • In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Suitable mask should be worn when sanding.
  • When applying paint, it is advisable to wear eye protection, suitable protective clothing and gloves.
  • In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
  • Remove splashes from skin by using soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner.
  • Keep container tightly closed and keep out of reach of children.
  • Care must be taken when transporting paint. Keep container in a secure upright position. In the event of accident, contain and collect spillage by using sand or earth.
  • Dispose of any paint waste in accordance with the appropriate environmental quality regulations.
