OCEAN STAR Anti-Fouling Paint

OCEAN STAR Anti-Fouling Paint is a high-quality, coal-tar and cuprous oxide-based coating specially formulated to prevent the attachment and growth of marine organisms, such as barnacles, mollusks, algae, and slime, on submerged surfaces of wood, iron, and steel boats and ships. This essential marine paint maintains vessel durability and fuel efficiency while reducing maintenance costs. It is an excellent mid-range option for commercial and recreational vessels operating in both freshwater and coastal seawater within tropical and subtropical climates, such as those found in Myanmar. OCEAN STAR Anti-Fouling Paint is also well-suited for floating or fixed marine structures, including bridge pillars, harbors, docks, piers, pipelines, and platforms. It is available in Reddish Brown.

Note: This antifouling paint is designed to gradually wear away over time, ensuring consistent protection. Its effective lifespan is typically up to 6 months.

  • High Quality Coal Tar thin with up to 5% of Eagle Lacquer Thinner ET (71)

  • It is flammable. Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. No welding. Protect from extremes of temperature. Store in a good ventilated room at room temperature.
  • It needs enough ventilation during application and drying.
  • In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Suitable mask should be worn when sanding.
  • When applying paint, it is advisable to wear eye protection, suitable protective clothing and gloves.
  • In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
  • Remove splashes from skin by using soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner.
  • Keep container tightly closed and keep out of reach of children.
  • Care must be taken when transporting paint. Keep container in a secure upright position. In the event of accident , contain and collect spillage by using sand or earth.
  • Dispose of any paint waste in accordance with the appropriate environmental quality regulations.
