UNILAC Undercoat White

UNILAC Undercoat White is a high quality alkyd enamel designed for use as an undercoat with UNILAC Gloss Enamel. It provides excellent opacity and strong adhesion, effectively acting as the primer to the topcoat, creating a complete paint system that builds adequate film thickness and reduces the cost of topcoats.

BY BRUSH (OR) ROLLER

  • The paint is ready for use after thorough stirring. If necessary, thin with up to 5% of thinner by volume.

BY CONVENTIONAL AIR SPRAY

  • Dilute the paint with up to 15-20% of thinner.

BY AIRLESS SPRAY

  • The paint is ready for use after thorough stirring.

RECOMMENDED THINNER

  • Master Mineral Turpentine (MAT 01)

  • It is flammable. Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking, No welding. Protect from extremes of temperature. Store in a good ventilated room at room temperature.
  • It needs enough ventilation during application and drying.
  • In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Suitable mask should be worn when sanding.
  • When applying paint, it is advisable to wear eye protection, suitable protective clothing and gloves.
  • In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
  • Remove splashes from skin by using soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner.
  • It may be harmful if swallowed.
  • Keep container tightly closed and keep out of reach of children.
  • Care must be taken when transporting paint. Keep container in a secure upright position. In the event of accident, contain and collect spillage by using sand or earth.
  • Do not empty into drains or watercourse.
  • Dispose of any paint waste in accordance with the appropriate environmental quality regulations.
