Since occupational safety & health is one of our policy commitments, UPG immediately
responded the pandemic at workplaces with the following measures.

• Engineering controls
• Administrative controls
• Supports to COVID-19 suspected and infected employees

At the company’s workplaces, UPG took engineering controls including enhancing ventilation,
physical distancing and isolation. The administrative controls include face covering, hand
washing, social distancing, work from home (WFH), safe commuting, ART tests, safe entry,
staggering work shifts, vaccinations, cleaning & disinfection, information dissemination,
compliance monitoring and temporary closure of the company operation.
Supports to infected employees include financial support, medicine and consultation support,
and oxygen concentrator and cylinder support.
